An opportunity to promote your organisation

The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease is partnering with international film and broadcasting company, WebsEdge, to bring Union TV to the 47th World Conference on Lung Health in Liverpool, 26-29 October 2016.

This is following the success of The Union’s partnership with WebsEdge to produce Tobacco OR Health TV at the 16th World Conference on Tobacco or Health in Abu Dhabi and Union TV at the 46th World Conference on Lung Health in Cape Town, both in 2015.

In Liverpool, Union TV will be an onsite conference television channel featuring a new episode daily, screened around the venue, as well as in selected guest hotel rooms, online and via social media.

This venture serves to raise the visibility of the hard work of researchers, public health and clinical experts and policy makers in the fights against tuberculosis, HIV, lung disease and non-communicable diseases, and provides an opportunity to learn about the latest developments that are making a difference.

Each daily programme has two features: “Thought Leadership” and “Conference News.” Thought Leadership pieces are five-minute sponsored film segments highlighting programmes and initiatives in the field. Conference News is a daily programme of conference highlights, featuring “behind the scenes” interviews, coverage of conference events, and reactions to the day from delegates.

WebsEdge will be reaching out to organisations and institutes to describe the “Thought Leadership” programme and seek their engagement in creating the five-minute documentary-style films highlighting particular aspects of their project work.

There are a limited number of places available for the five-minute films and there is a cost to participate. If you would like to explore having a film featured in the programme, please contact:
